It is set in the heart of the city surrounded by other historic landmarks like the Victoria Memorial, the Birla Planetarium, Rabindra Sadan and the Nandan.
The architecture and the work of art within the Cathedral draw many a people every year. The church has visitors' everyday coming in for various reasons. Some are just tourists who come to have a look at the famed monument and then there are others who have prayers and a deep desire to spend some quite moments in God's presence. The church is open for visitors everyday from nine in the morning to twelve noon and then from three in the afternoon to six in the evening.
